Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is an upcoming Bollywood biographical film on the former Indian athlete Milkha Singh. The film is being produced and directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra; starring Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor. Milkha Singh has sold the story for just one rupee. The remuneration from movie will be used for the benefit of needy athletes. The name of the movie comes from the last words spoken by his father, which was to save his life during the riots of Partition of India. During the partition, Milkha lost his family members. The story talks about his perseverance as an athlete and also as a courageous human spirit.

Special Chabbis is an upcoming Bollywood heist drama film directed by Neeraj Pandey of A Wednesday fame. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles with Jimmy Shergill, Manoj Bajpai and Anupam Kher in supporting roles. The film takes its concept from the real-life daring heist dated 19-March-1987 where an unknown man posing as CBI officer Mon Singh recruited 26 men posing as income tax officers executing a daylight income tax raid on the Opera House branch of Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri in Mumbai, and disappeared with jewellery worth lakhs. The movie is set in the early 1980's. The film is scheduled to release on February 8, 2013.

Race 2 is an upcoming Bollywood action thriller film is directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced under the Tips Music Films banner and is the first major release of the year. It is the sequel to the 2008 hit film, Race, and stars an ensemble cast that includes Anil Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan reprising their roles as Robert D'Costa and Ranveer Singh from the previous film while Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel are new additions to the cast. Bipasha Basu will reprise her role of Sonia in a special appearance. The first trailer of Ajay Devgn starrer Himmatwala will release with the film. Race 2 is scheduled to release on 25th January 2013.

Vishwaroopam is an upcoming Tamil-Hindi bilingual Indian spy thriller film written, directed and co-produced by Kamal Haasan that features himself in the lead role. The film, also has Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah and Jaideep Ahlawat in supporting roles.The film was shot with the same cast in both languages simultaneously, and is titled in Hindi as Vishwaroop.. It is the first Indian film, and second world film (after Red Tails) ever to be equipped with Auro 3D sound format. Vishwaroopam will be first of its kind to release on DTH platforms, on the concept of one time watch for mere INR1,000 (US$18.2). According to Kamal Haasan the film is expected to earn INR350 crore (US$63.7 million)

Chennai Express is an upcoming Bollywood action romance film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Gauri Khan under her production banner Red Chillies Entertainment. The film features Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

Chennai Express is about a man's journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and what happens along the way. Filming began in October 2012 and is expected to wrap-up by April 2013.
